Pick who are your selections for all-time best two DC United Forwards, while with DC United. The criteria is up to you: minutes, quility over a length of time, most brilliant moment, likeability, etc. It is possible to vote for more or less than 2 forwards, but be warned that doing so will have the natural effect of diluting your vote.

If your favorite is not on the list, then we can have a challenge knock-off election in a subsequent thread.

I am running this vote through next Friday since people might be away from their computers through Christmas.

Next I'll do a coach thread, for which no nominations will be neccessary (but I am curious who will vote for Rongen) and for vote #11, I think I'll try something different to come up with a second team.

I figure that the race here is going to be for the second striker spot, as I would think that most will vote for Jamie, but split three ways among RDA, Lassiter, and others.

I went with the Jamie-Roy combo. They were just so effective in 98 and 99.

I voted for 3. Just couldn't bring myself to eliminating one of RDA, Roy, Jaime

Nobody else comes close to getting a vote.

I went with Raul just because he seemed such a likeable fellow. Also, it was neat to point him out before the first season and have some faith that we'd see some goals out of this guy (validated a few games later by "Air Arce" chants) and have that faith realized. There was one home game against Dallas where I was suffering a summer cold and not feeling well and certainly shouldn't have been at RFK that hot afternoon, but Raul knock in a hat trick against the Burn.

    100% agreement with this post.

This is a race for 2nd place, and it's between Raul and Roy.

I know he did it for only 1 year (so far) but I had to vote for Esky. He had so many golazos last year, and he was money in the playoffs. IMO there is no way we win the cup in 2004 without him.

Hopefully he regains his form in 2006, has many more years like 2004 in the future, and in the DCU 20th aniversary poll there is no question, it is Jamie, Esky and everyone else!
