Pick who is your selection for all-time best DC United Left Defender, while with DC United. The criteria is up to you: minutes, quility over a length of time, most brilliant moment, likeability, etc.

If your favorite is not on the list, then we can have a challenge knock-off election in a subsequent thread.

I think Agoos occupies positions 1,2, and 3.

The better question would have been, who was the 2nd best left back? Answer= Ben Iroha. Dead on. This squad needs an outside back who has some offensive skills.

I'm a big Iroha fan, but his name and defender don't belong in the same sentence.
It's an eye-opening poll b/c DC has never had a good 2 way left back. Maybe Wilson can raise his game.

    I think we've got a landslide.

He won't win, but David Vaudreuil certainly should be on the nominees list and should probably finish in the top two or three in the poll.

Also, Petke should be nominated here too...

What a no brainer. Internationally he was slow and got beat like a drum. In MLS he owned the left side and sprayed passes to attacking teammates. And took some great free kicks. And as with all great United players he had a huge heart.
