The Technical Commitee scorecard of the Round 1. You can see, that only Goalscorers and MotM can equal the # of votes. Since, warnings were not mandatory. Also, see that the extreme scores/cases were normalized into an average. Even I've had no time for Reports (unless someone wants to do it, this time), I think this give a very good general view of how voters saw the teams strenght, weakness, and main performers and whom got a bad time, this 1st round. With the old rule (33% of the votes for Yellow) 6 more players would get a Warning. Maybe, a bit harsh, since the reduce squad for each team. So, at the end, I guess, the "ammended rule" of 50% of the votes to earn a Yellow, was a good decision. btw, X player can be suspended just 1 time in the tournament.
I saw substitutions being discussed in game strategy. My understanding was that based on the rules we are not considering substitutions. Can we get a clarification on that?
Yeah, substitutions were discussed at some point, but some disagree. So, at the end, weren't considered for the game.
We miss their 2nd matchday teams from: @Sammer's Hammer , @poetgooner and @thebigman to get the ball rolling.
Glad to hear it. Let's play this next game without spoiling tactics so he can avoid another yellow card! (if he can resist the temptation to kick my star player) Johan has asked me to compile a dossier to question Keane's value and impact as a player to test Roy's resolve though, because he would prefer he's a bit wound up for some reason. All I've got is this so far: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992–93_Nottingham_Forest_F.C._season https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993–94_Nottingham_Forest_F.C._season https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994–95_Nottingham_Forest_F.C._season I've pointed out that Keane's United did win a double in that period, but Johan assures me he's got his pre-match interview on the subject sorted with comments like "ya..., I mean with Cantona, Giggs, Kanchelskis....only natural that they win those titles" and he insists he can mention this game as the ace up his sleeve: https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/match/51231--barcelona-vs-man-united/
Groups ready for Round 2: Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 Still missing @poetgooner in Group 1, to complete all teams
Round 2: With the end of the First Half of the matches (half of the votes received) No standout player so far, also with the goalscoring chart increasing in names. News: one defender in the Group 4 is booked, already.
Still missing, the votes from @poetgooner , @La-Máquina and @nirvaanfc I guess, tomorrow night, I could post Round-2 results.
The Technical Commitee scorecard of the Round 2. With 1 vote missing, there were 3 mixed results: Diez vs Poet: 2-5-4 ---> if missing vote goes to W/D, result would be Draw, only if goes to L result would be Lost. So, 2 probabilities to be Draw as final result. Odiseo vs heroe: 4-5-2 ---> if missing vote goes to W, result would be Win, but if goes to D/L result would be Draw. So, 2 probabilities to be Draw as final result. The same with Bigman vs msioux. Also, two other players from Group 4, were closer to get a Yellow (anyway, La-Maquina's vote is not counted for this group)
Round 2 - stats:Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 Goalscorers: 4 - Ronaldo Luis (tLB Odiseo) 3 - Eusebio da Silva (Sammer's Hammer) 3 - Pelé (poetgooner) 3 - Romario (heroearaucano) 3 - Shevchenko, Andriy (wm442433) 3 - van Basten, Marco (Perú FC) Star of the R2: Diego Maradona (wm442433) Team of the R2: Buffon - Nasazzi, Scirea, Figueroa - Rijkaard, Matthaus - Gullit, Zidane, Maradona - Pelé, Stoichkov Discipline: Red: - Yellow: Roy Keane (Sammer's Hammer) --------Claudio Gentile (nirvaanfc)
