MLS Cup 2023 is finally set!

So how will you be celebrating the annual event? With an intimate gathering of family and friends? With a blowout MLS Cup block party? Or somewhere in between?

And how will you be feasting the day? Pizza? Hamburgers? Chicken wings? All of the above (I'm assuming that beer will be involved as well [IMG])?

In any case, have fun and let's hope not only that the San Jose Earthquakes will be in next season's edition, but that they’ll be hosting it in PayPal Park for all of the U.S. and Canada to see.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! [IMG]

This will be the first time that I'll have watched nine consecutive MLS Cup finals since MLS Cups 1996-2004 (overall, I've watched MLS Cups 1996-2004, 2008, 2010, 2013, 2015-2022).

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

This will also be the first MLS Cup final since 2020 to include at least one MLS Original Ten team.

For me, while I’m okay with either team winning this game, I’m not particularly going to cheer on either one.

Not Columbus because of the reason I stated here, and not LAFC because while they’re not the Galaxy, they’re still (as you succinctly put it) LA.

But at least neither Dynamo FC nor the aforementioned Galaxy are playing in this game, so I can at least still watch it.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

If LAFC ends up winning, they’d become the first back-to-back MLS Cup champions in just over a decade.

I don't give a rats ass about any MLS team other than the Quakes, they all occupy the same level far below the Quakes, but, LAFC were bunkering wimps against Seattle and Houston, so I hope Columbus stomps them a new mudhole.

Crew win if they play they way they have all playoffs, with heart and really beautiful soccer and press and release.

LAFC win, if they push hard get a goal and bunker. But it might not be enough to hold the Crew off. FCC found out. LAFC have the luxury to stack the backline though with Long, Chiellini and Murillo.

If LAFC gets a handball from Tanner Beason in the box, they might stand a chance of winning. Otherwise, gonna be tough without Gareth Bale.

    That's my scouting report. :)

He is in LA, so the throne he is on is a toilet.
