See, now I'm glad I included that as an option. As to "Why the hell does it matter?" - that's a deeply philosophical question that I'm not sure that I can answer (although I'd say it's at least as important as what Tony Frias' value is to the Revs). BTW, for some background as to what his is all about see this thread.
As the former moderator I lend my full endorsement to El Jefe. He's one of the MLS "lifers" as it were, and actually attended the first Midnight Riders MOTY ceremony and subsequent dinner. The Magpie
I did not vote on the poll- but support El Jefe as a moderator of this board. I have met him a couple of times. In the North End before 1st MLS Cup at the MR's MOTY- and a couple of times since then. He is an MLS Lifer- and he realizes that a "tailgate" is either "= or >" in value than most games- we Rev fans have seen our team play! These two factors alone make him more than qualified to moderate the NERevs Board, in my humble opinion. Jon
Actually, as far as El Jefe is concerned, the operational statement should be: Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't!
El Jefe had a web site up and running for his team before they even had a name. And he was already talking trash to Kansas City fans. Bring him on! Tom
Well seeing how only 10% of the voters don't want TheJefe to moderate I'd say it's a pretty clear mandate. Of course the two that think he should be eliminated are perhaps cause for worry...
Huss is the administrator of this site. He can also be reached by Private Messaging. As one who voted yes, I say let El Jefe be one of the mods here. He's one of the best contributors to Big Soccer as a mod and poster. The Burn forum is well modded as well. Cheers.
I would like to thank all the Rev fans who made this possible and as a token of my appreciation, I will buy beers for all Rev fans who come up to me at the Cotton Bowl and remind me. No, wait, that might get expensive. OK, I promise that I'll spot you a couple bucks apiece toward the purchase of a beer. No, even that's a bit expensive. OK, here's what I'll do: I'll persuade the beer vendors at the Cotton Bowl to not rip you off. Again, my warmest thanks!
You're talking to Revs fans Dustin ... don't mention free beer, otherwise we all might make the $200 flight down to Dallas just for that beer!
