Can we kill the idea of bringing back the singer of the worst rendition of our National Anthem? Somebody in the FO saw her on American Idol and thinks giving her a shot at redemption is a good idea. I'd much prefer no Anthem, or just having a scratchy recording of some marching band playing it. It's our freaking National Anthem, not country music Star Search. I give her credit for owning how awful she was in 2012. I actually think they did the right think for once. This is bringing attention to the team which they seldom get.
I'm actually pretty OK with this. It brings some positive attention to the team, and it's a great redemption story all the way around. If she crashes and burns again, well, she got her shot.
