Update: Henry admitted using his left hand to keep the ball in play that resulted in the decisive goal for France to qualify for the World Cup in Wednesday's draw with Ireland. "There is little more I can do apart from admit that the ball had contact with my hand leading up to our equalizing goal and I feel very sorry for the Irish," he told the Associated Press. FIFA denied an appeal from Ireland for the game to be replayed because of the blown call.

Analysis: Henry is taking a lot of heat from those calling him a cheater since he celebrated the goal despite knowing he touched the ball with his hand. Should he have called a foul on himself after the goal? We'll have to see if any of the fallout impacts his play for Barcelona.

Update: Clark is leaving MLS to pursue European opportunities according to Soccer by Ives.

Analysis: On the same day Houston learns that Stu Holden and Ricardo Clark are most likely headed for Europe. For Clark, who was pursued lightly by Serie A side Livorno last January, it should be interesting to see where he ends up. He has a nasty edge to him that would fit Germany or Italy, and joining a team in January will keep him fit as he heads towards his World Cup dream.

Update: Holden is out of his contract with Houston Dynamo and high on the shopping list of Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen according to The Scottish Daily Record.

Analysis: Holden's first priority is to see his World Cup dream come true. With that in mind, he wants to make sure that if he does move abroad, he plays consistently, unlike some other Yanks who've gone overseas. If he gets the reassurances from Aberdeen, then it would be a heck of a move for Stu, and a hard pill to swallow for the Dynamo.
