    Don't know the date but i'm pretty sure Xavi and Eto'o will be out. Why all the pessimism? The whole beauty of the cup is that anything can happen. Would anyone really have expected Zaragoza to score 4 goals against Barca. Also who says that we will play Barca they may not even get through. Victor Munoz can organise a pretty mean defence. I think the fact that Barca will play us is the added initiative but I repeat this is Cup football and any thing can happen. At least we won't be going into the game playing crap and have a lot of players just back from injury. Show some optomism, I'm not saying we are defintely in the final but for God's sake don't write your team off like that. Leave opinions as such to the neutrals.

    we can beat them, no doubt. no place for pessimism here, its not our job to be afraid of them but the other way around. heck if we can crush their confidence in february, season may not be over just yet. zaragoza game may be beggining of their slup in form we can ride on.

    Yeah well Barca is gonna have to get past Zaragoza first before we can think about this tie. Barca will need to score 2 and keep a clean sheet, or just try to beat the aggregate.

    Barcelona has too many open fronts right now to be such a big menace. And Zaragoza are no slouches.

    As hard as it may be to believe, having won 4-2 and having stopped the Barcelona express, but Zaragoza was SCREWED in their match. Neither Barcelona goal should have happened. A two goal lead heading into Camp Nou just isn't safe, and I think Barcelona may end up going through.

    Because of the away goal rule, a 1-0 win puts Barcelona through.

    It's 2-0, not unconceivable at Barcelona though. It will all depend on how seriously Rijkaard takes the Cup.

    No sir. Zaragoza scored a 4th in the 93rd or so minute, making it 4-2. Barcelona need sto win 2-0, 3-1, win by 3, or tie 4-2 to have a chance to advance.

    I beg to difer. If Barcelona win 1-0 at home, then they go through 5-4 on aggregate (with away goals counting as double).

    Away goals don't count double, they are just a tie breaker when aggregate is even.

    Jesus! 4+0 = 4; 2+1 = 3; 4>3 => Zaragoza advances.

    Not rocket science this. :rolleyes:
