The only things I’d add to these tweets are that there could be an eventual agreement between Fletcher, DC, and BVB that he signs with DC for the next few years and then moves to the German club after a few games years for a fixed fee. Also, there might be another club or two in MLS trying to sign Fletcher. There’s been talk Fletcher will spurn interest from BVB and sign instead with DC United. As far as I understand, that is an option but nothing is completely decided. Speaking with a lot of people about this the past few days, what I’ve heard is that the path at BVB isn’t ideal.— USMNTProspects (@ProspectsUsmnt) July 29, 2022 DC United is trying to get him signed, but don’t think club is pushing him into decision soon or that deal is close. These situations can change quickly. However, I believe decision not too close, likely months away. Contrary to prior reports, believe DC/BVB both on the table.— USMNTProspects (@ProspectsUsmnt) July 29, 2022
New American abroad! Zachary Parpel is a 16 year old midfielder with SK Slavia Prague U19's in the Czech Republic. Slavia Prague is one of the most famous and popular clubs in the Czech Republic and have been in the Champions League 13 times. Zachary is a Czech-American dual nat.— micah w (@micahw1718) July 19, 2022 I am texting to set the record straight. Mataeo had offers to play in Europe but chose to stay with SKC. I have European status so it is not an issue for Mataeo to play in Europe before 18.— Alex Bunbury (@AlexanderBunbu1) July 4, 2022
Watched this game of Grayson Dettoni ('05). First time seeing him play. He only played one half, so it's hard to tell that much. My instant impression is that stylistically he reminds me a little of long-time Bayern first team CB Niklas Sule. I'm not suggesting he'll be as good, but he plays a similar style. He's an absolute tower out there. 6'5 easily. He scored a towering header also. Unlike some of these other tall '05 CB's (Marshall, Wynder, Suarez), he's pretty bulky and probably doesn't need to put on the same type of weight those guys need to put on to get stronger and win duels easier. Despite being 6'5 and bulky, he moves well enough. I need to see more to judge how quick he is. My initial impression was somewhere between average or slightly above-average for his size (Wynder territory). Defensively, he did his job a bunch of times, but didn't have anything too tricky to defend. He had one nice pass, but the rest were pretty simple passes. It was not easy to evaluate him based on these 45 minutes. I would say he's probably some level of YNT-level player, but at this point I don't know if he's one of the top '05 CB's or if he's merely somewhere between 6-10.
US U17 CM Pedro Soma makes another first-team preseason appearance, this time against Espanyol B. Hopefully maintains this regular time into the regular season to go with some starts. https://t.co/Dp1yB6R7hm— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) August 3, 2022

2007-born Rohan Rojagopal is set to leave San Jose Earthquakes Academy and sign with Nottingham Forrest 👀The midfielder was called up to the USA U15 National Team earlier this year and is now set to make a move to one of the top academies in England 🏴#USYNT #USMNT #MLSNext pic.twitter.com/fXN7Ndos1M— OPSM Soccer (@OPSMSoccer) August 13, 2022
Interesting move. I'm indifferent on what to think. Ordinarily, I don't like young Americans moving to EPL academies. Extremely hard to eventually break through. On the other hand, San Jose is becoming extremely difficult also, unless the team is 100% convinced in the player. Many talented players are falling by the wayside. Rajagopal is a good prospect, but is he better than Edwin Mendoza in the same position for San Jose? Similar level prospect and Mendoza is a year older. Rajagopal likely would've been his backup this year IMO. Could help him get more minutes this upcoming season, and I don't Nottingham Forest has that level of depth that San Jose does.

Surely if Dettoni is playing regular minutes for Bayern Munich U19, he has to get a look with our U19 YNT that's been having camps. Especially in the upcoming European camp.

Here is another for Werder Bremen U17. CF/AM, Yuval Ranon, born in 2006 who just moved from North Carolina FC. 🇺🇸🇮🇱. Highlights are pretty nice. Some outstanding technical ability for his age. https://t.co/a7Nl2evPD1— Marcus Chairez (@chai_asc) August 14, 2022
@ChuckMe92 started a thread on Bleicher in 2019. In terms of info, it doesn't really add much, though it does further confirm that if you want to know about YAs years before everyone else who isn't reading YA, you should read YA: https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/franz-xaver-bleicher-at-augsburg.2104129/
It was more the tweet about Ranon. I think there was a YA thread posted for him about a week ago, but I thought I’d just post the tweet as opposed to linking the thread because the tweet summed up the important info succinctly.
