Picked up a pair of the new white Specialis today from the (temporary) Umbro store in London (where they held the launch of the new England kit). Always wanted a pair of Specialis but never got round to it, and I do love a white boot, so I couldn't resist these. Nice paraphernalia that comes with them too.

yeah, I'd keep them intact.. not just cuz of the valor that 'll raise through the years, but also cuz its a special edition boot, its nice to have one of these in perfect state..

and also, I dont know if its just an impression or something, but they look much more beautiful than on the umbro's advertisements when the boot was to be released ;p

Nice little collection I guess but I couldnt buy the same pair of boots but in a different colourway. I would have to sell my other pair.

No tongue strap, just the velcro. And yep, I'm pretty sure it just means 1 of 283 pairs, not number 1. Although the lady in the shop did think it meant number 1, and got strangely excited.

thanks everyone, I just came back from a long kick around with these, ultra comfortable and the touch is just phenomenal...my best purchase to date...I definately recommend these boots for wide footed players. they feel really light when they're on, I'm over the moon with these.

i love it when companies make a simplistic line of clothing/shoe like that. It just looks real quality. Especially the whole of umbros new england lineup. The attention to detail and suave looking outfits are far better than the gimmick loaded ones.
