Non-playing, former CB Terry in goal Got to appreciate the suns dedication to the worst 'journalism' possible.
what a strange award and a strange selection of winners https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_President's_Award
https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation...climbing-impossible-mountain-of-knee-injuries I remember being sooo hype about him Wishing him the best in his recovery.
Malang Sarr got his debut for Porto against City today. According to the Twitter-machine, he held his own and handled Mahrez quite well. Yes, 3 goals conceded but 2 were from dead ball situations and the other was thanks to Pepe being Pepe. Looks like we may have sent the wrong center back out on loan. Regardless, promising stuff.
Sum-up of 32 players on loan https://www.planetfootball.com/quic...oan-this-season-hoping-to-catch-lampards-eye/
Super windy at the youth cup final today against city. Some rough tackles from our lads in the early running.
Former Blues account for 4 of the goals in Belgium's 4-2 win over Denmark. Lukaku x2 KdeB x1 Courtois x1 (og )
Hazard subbed out after less than half an hour with another injury today. Feel bad for him. His dream must feel more like a nightmare.
I feel bad for him, don't feel bad for Madrid. Trickster winger with a history of hip injuries, had ankle surgery a few years ago, and is close to 30. I didn't want him to leave but quite honestly we pretty much fleeced Madrid and turned it around. If the Shevchenko signing taught me anything, it's that if a non selling team is willing to part with one of their best attacking talents, something's up. Granted, the money we got was too good to turn down, but that much for a winger close to 30? Ok!
He hadn't made less than 40 appearances basically since his debut as a professional and played in almost every Premier League game of every season. His issues staying healthy are surprising.
His injuries started around the time we performed at our worst (15/16). He was playing through a hip injury, then there was the ankle surgery after that, and the little injuries just coming. That stuff adds up at one point. Throw in the fact that he's a winger close to 30 who doesn't really train much and it's not too surprising he can't stay healthy.
From two 50+ game seasons in a row to barely playing is a dropoff no one would have predicted (or called). Hindsight is nice though.
Former Chelsea Academy player Jamal Musiala scored for Bayern today. He's 17, currently represents england at u21 level.
Yes a real shame we could not keep him but he was born in Germany and Bayern tempted him away. He still has the choice between England and Germany for his senior team. Chelsea sent him to a posh public school.
Whitgift in Croydon. A lot of the Academy players go there. He has a German mum and a British-Nigerian Dad. He was born in Germany and moved to Eng-ger-land when he was 7. I think he feels German.
