That high backline, is always going to give chances, to a player like Mbappe, who likes those wide open spaces to run into, add in a donkey like Sule ( can't stand that player) and slow Boateng, well...............

Well now we know Bayern is not as good as they were last season for sure. Counter the shit out of them and pounce on mistakes if we ever encounter them.

Still pretty deadly going forward i'd say, if Lewa and Gnabry play , a whole different ball game

Yep even last year this was a problem for them, they gave away a lot of chances but created a ton in return.

This what digital say. It an unfair game due to they gave neymar and mbappe. While bayern miss lewa and gnaby. Which are critical to them since they play such a high line scoring team.

That's not quite true as he was the catalyst in the R16 and quarterfinal last year for PSG, iirc. Two assists tonight and might've drawn a penalty also (would like to see a replay of that first half incident). Although, yeah... his finishing was poor tonight.

    Gnabry for Sane
Lewy for Chupo and this is a comfortable Bayern win

It's definitely a hot take, but when the league already has PSG etched on the trophy before the season begins one has to wonder how much further he's taken their project especially compared to Mbappe. At this point he crippled their ability to make meaningful additions that not only help the team but have a real chemistry with Mbappe.

We’ve seen PSG choke after bigger wins in the CL already, so I’m not holding my breath. Still hope they knock out Bayern.

Great game for a neutral. Sucks that Mbappe’s price keeps rising but at the same time, the earlier Bayern get dumped outta the competition the better

The injury didn't help but not much he could've done with the second Bayern goal as the PSG back line was playing the offside trap and I believe a midfielder kept Mueller on. Plus Mueller had a sitter early on, well before Marquinos was injured. They looked pretty open at the back for the entire 90 minutes.

3-2 win but Bayern dominated the game. Should have scored 2 more at least.

Anyway, always fun to see Bayern lose. [emoji16]

Is today Chelsea game home or away for them? BOTH legs play at Spain stadium so I don't know if first leg is Chelsea away or home.

If it away then Chelsea has 2 away goals.

Don’t do this bro. We have to get past liverpool first. Things can turn very easily in the 2nd leg.

You’re my guy but heavily disagree with you on this one. We have gotten nothing out of hazard. Literally. Neymar had 2 assists tonight. Am I missing something. His first assist was sublime. The pace and then the little hesi-hey to totally clown the retreating defender and buying Mbappe more space and time. He’s a special talent, if he wasn’t born in the Messi-Cristiano era would have been considered a great of the game. Second assist was lovely. We just orgasmed yesterday when Kroos did a similar pass. He’s a phenomenal player who didn’t only raise the profile of PSG 10 fold but he has contributed heavily to their on field performances. The comparison with Hazard is light years off the mark.

Yeah. PSG would be in tatters. I still pick Bayern to win the tie and comfortably too. They had a boat load of chances. Some missed and some saved by lord Keylor.

The first goal was also avoidable. Looked like Neuer guessed and was already moving before Kilyan shot. If he had waited a split second longer the shot would have been straight at him and easy save. Kilyan got the goal but the shot was bad. Neuer helped him out.

Happy that PSG won,i hope they KO Bayern.Bayern is the best team we can face in the final, they completely outplayed PSG despite the result. If Leva and Gnabry played it would have been 5-1/5-2

Bayern is a team,PSG are just individuals,we can beat PSG,Bayern not so much ...
Chelsea are a good team but nothing special,do the job at Anfield and we should reach the final .

I hope Dortmund KO City and our chances to win the CL drastically increase.

My conclusion from this week's games is that there's really no clear favorite.

I would not be particularly excited about playing us, though. Some 2018-style Zizou black magic/suffer-and-survive-and-advance-and-score-a-golazo-out-of-thin-air energy in this team rn.
