Personally, I can't see how it can be better than the UK original, or how it can be translated effectively by US networks. I fear it'll be like a poor version of Will and Grace or something.

I'm not sure anyone in America has ever heard of Yes Minister. I vaguely recall the show, but I lived in England as a kid.
I think I saw a couple of minutes of it once when I was flipping past the local PBS station. I don't know if it'll work here. People have a hard time with the concept of lampooning the president.
