Would be hilarious if it is Mac Silva who gets minutes instead of Carrascal and Yaser. :ROFLMAO:

Would be really weird to see that happen.

    The good news
Yaser played well again with good dribbles, dangerous crosses, and provided fantastic passes as per usual.

    The bad news:
He did it mostly from the left wing where we have a long line of players waiting to play on the Seleccion. :p

(Honestly though. even that is not bad news because it shows his versatility and range, it just seems funny to me we have so many players who play better on the left wing.)

It's great that he can play on either.

This one was on ESPN+ so I'm gonna try to watch a replay.

He is getting more and more consistent and it's helping Watford move up the table.

He needs to leave for next season to a bigger league and hopefully somewhere that will play him central in a 3 man midfield. For a winger he's good, but I don't think it's ever going to be his best position and he has the tools to play more central and be great in that position.

He's clearly doing well at Watford and on the wing, but I think what's best for his career and for us is get him more minutes central and keep pushing him to defend and press in those areas and this guy can be a real star.

I think Portugal or Germany would be great spots for him, I think he could play in the EPL for sure but he needs time and to be given a lot of responsibility somewhere to really thrive.

Some nice quotes from his coach on his development.

Apparently, at half time they told him to stop passing laterally around the box and simply go for goal.

Past two games at least that formula seems to be working.

I just don't see Watford letting him go to those leagues based on the transfers they would offer. If that were the approach they would simply send him to Udinese (assuming they stay up) and let him cook in Seria A at their sister team - which frankly I think would suit his game beautifully.

I'd love a move to Benfica or Porto or BvB or Leverkusen...just doubt those teams offer enough for Watford to let him go and I fear you are right that a direct move to the Prem would likely limit his minutes at a time when we want him playing every weekend.

I think if he and his agent push you can get something done. It's hard to keep a big talent if all you're offering is the championship, but Watford are a little tricky in that regard. They let Sarr go to Marseille this last window after he pushed, but he's a little older and had been there a while already.

He's a fabulous talent. He's a lot stronger too but he still isn't played in his real position of strength as an attacking midfielder.

He's far too good to stay with us. I can see him.follow Pedro to Brighton. With better players around him, an excellent manager I think he will explode. We'll have to sell anyway as our dumb owner who has made mistake after mistake has run the club financially into the ground.. He doesn't use data but corrupt agents to sign players.

It's lucky our scout in South America gas been great when listened to. All the best to Yaser he should be showcasing his talent st a higher le el instead of the dross aside from Kobe and Maryins at times that he has to play with.

We need to get Yaser out of Watford. As much as I love the Elton John story, they fired his coach AGAIN. It's ridiculous.

He needs to go to somewhere with a serious org.
