Griffin Yow(ram in 4231) got the assist in Westerlo's 1-3 loss toss to powerhouse, Anderlecht. On the season, he has 2 goals and 2 assists in 356 minutes. Could be an Olympian.

Seems like tomorrow is a relegation 6 pointer extravaganza. Luton plays brentfird (who should be safe), Nottingham forest plays Everton, and the big show……. Burnley play Sheffield United. Trusty and Sheffield absolutely must take three points at turf moor

McKennie(rcm in 352) and Juventus get the 2-1 over Monza to move into 1st place. His ball winning numbers were impressive as that has been a statistical weakness for him.

I don't think Everton is a good team and that was a substantial penalty, but I think they will get enough results to be out of danger before the stretch run. Sheffield and Burnley are really horrible, not just unlucky, and I can't see them investing enough to meaningfully change that on the transfer window. I think there is really only one relegation slot in play.

Another nice win for busio and tessmann to keep Venezia atop the table. Along with Parma they are getting separation from the pack

devastating loss for Sheffield and they look like dead man walking now

The Piedmont Pirlo(cdm in 433) and Busio(rcm in 433) get the 3-1 win over Ascoli to stay in 1st place. Serie B has been great for Tessmann and Busio. Tessmann was provided the needed forgiving environment, in which his game could be honed. He had looked badly out of place in Serie A, though not quite as bad as Eddie Johnson in the EPL. Busio had looked solid in Serie A but needed to work on his physicality. He showed improvement in that area in the Gold Cup. And in league, his ball winning numbers are better.

    Tessmann
    52/65 passing

The Greek keeper for Forest with a U14 rec error that should have led to an Everton goal in the first half. He gets caught between staying on his line and coming out and collided with the Everton attacker. On a different day and in a different country, it could have been a penalty. Not exactly seeing what the big deal is about this guy where he came right in and became the starter without any sort of real competition for the role when he walked in.

That's not exactly how it went down. Turner was keeper for double-digit matches. He was a mediocre or average EPL starter. Then he made a calamitous mistake. So Vlach got next chance. They might have always wanted to switch to him because the owner's Greek, but Matt did get a shot.

Now it's looking like they may need to switch back because Vlach so far has been worse than Turner. He could win the job back by default. But Vlach's been lucky to not have allowed a couple 1st half goals at home against last place Everton, so in conjunction w/ the owner's wishes, that may delay the return.

If the American duo help steer Venezia back to Serie A, I don't think they'd regret those acquisitions that much anymore. I don't think they could be deluded enough to believe once they went up, their stay would be permanent, though they could have remained more than 1 yr.

Big three points for Everton. They’re going g to be fine. They’re very fortunate their ten point penalty came this season. Now they can say they did the time fir the crime instead of worrying about a relegation with it
