    Hahahaha

    Reggie Miller?????

More like the G team, the G stands for the Geritol Reggie has to take just to get out of bed.

    Argentina couldn't beat the Clippers

But the US National Soccer team could sure beat Argentina.

Good luck Argentina, I hope you win the whole thing, but I think you might of just pissed them off.

You don't want to piss off Reggie Miller, he will beat you with his cane.

I kind of hope the US gets beat in the elimination round.... If we're not going to send a team with our best players then why go at all?... Either stipulate only amateur or send Shaq Kobe Webber Kidd McGrady...

Theres not one player on this team that is a first team all pro in the NBA...

Pierce and Davis are the only TOP players on this team... All the others are role players and underachievers....

Yeah, you are right. Michael Finley? Jermaine O'neal? What was Karl thinking? He should have picked Antwan Jamison and Larry Hughes. I think that they match up a bit better with Andres Noccioni and Fabricio Oberto.

(hehe. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts)

I'd take Jamison over Finley any day... He plays defense.... :p

But gratz on the win, NOW GO BEAT THEM IN ELIMINATION ROUND! Teach them a lesson...

Yeah well as has been mentioned ad nauseum, this US team is no better than a middling good NBA team and they were entering a tournament were various countries have NBA players or NBA calibre players.

I don't care, it's about time the "Dream Team" had competition.

It's only fair that Argentina feels good about its victory. I mean we also never beat their A team...the Copa America 95 team was subs and the friendly in RFK didn't have Batistuta or Crespo. But the US team should be able to win the gold.

When one considers that Argentina could be the basket-case economy that drags everyone else down into a world-wide depresion, I think this is damn funny.

    The basketcase wins at basketball.

And, against the country that had more to do with making them a basketcase than any other!

Ouch... And here I was thinking that England was the one that made Argentina a basketcase... Or was it the Nazi sympathizing government of the 40's-50's in Argentina?... Fill me in counterattack... What EVIL's did America do to the people of Argentina?... Was it the movie with Madonna?... Or ohh ohh, maybe it's because we let you borrow money you couldn't pay back?... Thats the big one these days.. :p

Give the Argies a break, that's sgreat win., All the USA players are highly endorsed and their individual salaries are close to all of MLS players salaries combined. There's no excuse for a team of american professionals to lose a bsketball game. I really hate te NBA so I'm glad they lost and are done.

I do not mind one bit that Argentina is getting better at basketball and worse at football on the world stage, while the USA is getting better at football but worse at basketball.

Maybe some more athletically talented inner city youth will turn to the world's true international sport and switch off the NBA.
