When Nigeria scored the first goal, the goalkeeper walked right over to the Moroccan fans and started taunting them. This doesn't excuse what they did but players should be punished for inciting fans like this especially after what has happened in Argentina and Italy.

I'm not sure if Morocco can be punished in anyway since it isn't a home match for them but for an incident like that they need to have some form of punishment. A few qualifiers played in an empty stadium should do the trick.

I am sure this incident will not go over well in Holland consider the already considerable dislike/suspicion of the general public to the large amount of Moroccan immigrants in the country. Sucks for them.

Not to excuse what happened, but I also remember a player from the Nigerian team during the shoot-out at midfield running up close to a Dutch player and taunting him to his face when Nigeria had made a penalty that could have won it for them.

Hopefully these players learn some maturity to go along with their skills.

They can and should be punished. We had some similiar neutral court incidents here in some other sports.

No reason for not punishing them.

 

the north africans and sub-saharan africans probably don't like each other too much, and the moroccans didn't want to upset all their peeps that live in the netherlands and germany.

from what I heard there was quite some trouble going on in Kerkrade town after the game as well.

How come they never try this at Ajax or feyenoord games? Cause they're cowardly scum, that can't do better than beat women and little boys, that's why.

Of course you shouldn't judge the Moroccan community as a whole, but not once has there been the slightest bit of self-criticism from their side. Those people need to sort themselves out because one of these days things are going to get very, very ugly.

Haven't seen any news yesterday though.

What kind of trouble? People are fed up with them for a variety of reasons. And since there isn't the slightest trace of self-regulation in the Moroccan community, this only gets worse. It’s a bit too offtopic to go into details, but the tension between Moroccans and Dutch keeps rising. And this incident doesn’t really help.

 

I take it your saying they have a history of beating up little boys and women or what? Do you have a source for that? I can understand some Moroccans are troublemakers, but what country doesn't have those kinds of people. I see you have a us vs. them mentality about this. Why are they cowardly scum because they dont cause violence at ajax of feyenoord games??

 

The problem with Morrocans in Holland is that they are a real pain in the ass. They commit a lot of crimes like robbery, racketeering, theft and burglary. Most of them live here for ages and still don't speak Dutch, a lot of them live on welfare too. They hang around in groups, causing trouble and threaten innocent people who pass by.

This is incident # 999.999, I personally am sick of them and if you ask me we should either deport them or shoot them all. Call me a racist but if you'll ever live in one of the big cities of Holland, you'll know what I'm talking about...
