She's also getting left on an island when Rapinoe heads middle & high so much.

And that was a terrible ball from Kreiger -- no excuse there.

27' 0-0 Morgan to endline box left(?), cross cleared. Nigeria miss into touch at midfield left.

28' 0-0 USA right throw, probe right, backpass. Johnston inside-out ground pass to 33m mid-right, Wambach comes back and -- dummies over it?

28' 0-0 Klingenberg longball blocked over her head, backpass to Solo. Holiday pokes to Wambach, one-touch flick wide to Krieger. Bad pass down box right, way too hard.

29' 0-0 Nigeria counter through centerline, play wide to box top right. Sauerbrunn tackles into touch.

I guarantee every member of our squad has played on turf at least 100 times - no excuse for these overweighted passes.

30' 0-0 Klingenberg slips a pass to Morgan at 15m mid-left. She turns ccw, cross blocked and cleared. Okobi hoofs long for Oshoala, too far, Solo catches at 15m arc left.

32' 0-0 Nigeria long pass to Sunday(?) at arc top wide left, Johnston pinpoint slide-tackle to Holiday. Rapinoe is on the right ... somebody hoofs down box right, over.

32' 0-0 Nigeria dump ball down box left, Ordega outruns to 1m as both CBs pull up?? On-the-run turn-and-shoot -- way behind goal.

MFers just not thinking. Overhitting again and again. Somewhat interesting ideas rolling straight out of bounds.

This is a team, bar a few players, that is playing way too scared. Namely Krieger, Holiday, Lloyd, Heath and Kling. I don't get it. If you can't dribble your player, play fast for good ness sake and don't let the defense set.

Wrongfully called back goal and missed penalty. We're being screwed.

People can blame Ellis for all they want but to me this is on the players

It feels like the refs this tournament are pretty terrible, worse than 2011.

33' 0-0 Klingenberg overlaps through box top left, onside to 8m mid-left. Tries to float a cross, headed out. Rapinoe shoots from 20m mid-right dipping to right post low, Dede pokes it wide.

34' 0-0 USA right ck, short, back to Rapinoe at 10m box right. Shot blocked -- off a flapping left arm! Down to 3m 6-right, Johnston keeps it in, 1-v-2. Dribbles out to box right foot, goes back in -- loses it.

Ellis chose the players. There were others to choose. She put this team together, these are problems that have been around for a year, she hasn't fixed it for the WWC. This is her fault.
