Crespo to start against Milan and working hard in training:

"Crespo's determination to succeed has not gone unnoticed by his team-mates either.

Captain John Terry reveals that the striker has been doing overtime in training to sharpen his skills and prove his commitment to the squad. He added: "I really hope he is here to stay. He has got a year at Chelsea to give it a go.

"The sharpness is still there and he is hungry to do well for Chelsea. He is staying out longer in training than anyone else and he has a lot of qualities which everyone can see."

Midfielder Frank Lampard hopes that the form of Crespo will take some of the pressure off him this season having finished top scorer last term with 19 goals."

And from the SUN, "England's most Credible paper":

"And Mourinho said: “I’m looking forward to seeing the fight. Getting into the team is their problem, not mine.

“In pre-season everyone will get the same chance, 45 minutes each, then maybe 60 and 30 minutes.

"They will get the same chances to play but they must prove they should be in the team. I’m not stupid, all I care about is winning."
