Soccer socks, football hose, whatever ... I have seen photos of Mexican League socks with adverts all over them. And then there are the three-colored hoops job of the Adelaide Crows: Some of the Nike socks (the Park label) have that single stripe on them. Most teams (USA, Washington Freedom, Brazil) have the good sense to wear the stripe on the inside of the sock, but others (Portugal) have that single stripe that makes them look like a baseball team or a race car. Some of the training socks have these weird swoops and patterns (Washington Freedom's training socks, for example). I will add photos of what I have seen next week (rushing off to get home for Halloween!) but feel free to post weird soccer socks over the years. (NOTE: Tie Dye doesn't count; I think they're pretty much illegal)
Here is a Really Weird Sock, worn by Hamburg SV. I wonder if the strips at the top cuff are actually the inside design of the sock?
