Does John Torres know about this??? http://www.philly.com/philly/sports...roundskeeper-talen-energy-field-20170804.html
You know how puff-piece profiles work with this team! Except now, the winner of the "U let oUr groUndskeeper go" sweepstakes gets to tell him.
The Union scheduled the Open Practice for Yom Kippur??? It's probably unintentional, but that's just bad form. Game Day Rewards: Philadelphia Union Open Practice Session at Talen Energy Stadium! Can they cut words into the pitch and can the choices be: We Deserve Better Fire Curtin Or Sell Sugarman Sell Then I might care
Weren't open practices PART of the STH package in the past? I guess they needed some more "points-have-to-be-good-for-something" promotions.
I think the perk is the after practice access and the planned fan interaction. I think these practices are open the same way Flyers practices are open, you can show up and watch but they are there to work.
that's exactly right. I was there earlier this year with my son. It was open in that we could stand by and watch, but most of the players didn't acknowledge us (to be clear: I wasn't expecting them to). A few (Blake, McCarthy, Rosenberry, Medjunanin) came by to high five my son. in past years it was a loyalty point threshold reward
Yup!!! I'm stoked, I won. Gonna sit in the Owner's Sweet and watch our Football's precursor. Made my day, been a long few weeks at work.
The whole auction thing is BS by limiting it to per seat. I'm on like 12,500 points, for that Sugarman should mow my lawn. I'm fairly certain the raffles are rigged, @jaykoz3 is a moderate here. None of us negative nexus nimrods are winning that stuff. Or maybe just me. Hmmmm.... I THINK THE ACADEMY IS A GREAT IDEA. ONCE JIMMY GETS HIS GUYS WE ARE A PLAYOFF TEAM!!!! Let's see if it works.
I started to prepare my son for the very real possibility that there will be no season tickets next year. Poor kid burst into tears. Its important to him more for the dad time. I might need to do a 10 game Flyers plan or something instead.
the 11/10 game Flyers plan is comparable to the Union full season, ~X%. I've been kicking the idea around too, certainly the weekend plan due to my travel (see:business class comments).
I went off on my ticket rep earlier this year in the midst of the winless streak (the longer one that carried over from last year, not the current one - jeesh, there are so many that I have to specify). I won the seats to the box about a week later despite that and it was my ticket rep who called to tell me (and asked me to be respectful since I would be a guest in the owner's box). I thought maybe I had won because I bitched so much.
Let's be honest, I was probably the ONLY one to bid on this. I'm actually looking forward to seeing a real Championship team play in PPL...errrr..TES for once
I pulled the trigger on Sixers partials. Upper level were $306 per ticket. My plan included the Warriors too
I bid on it too. Whatevs. There are still lower bowl 11 game plans, they're $117 per, which has me at $2240 for the weekend plan. 45% of my Union spend for 450% more excitement. That's ROI Sugarman can get behind.
