    Juninho Pernambucano First...

Matias Fernandez Second, soon to catch up though....;)

Like the guy above me said, Beckham and Nakamura are both old and they only score on a few occasions.

A few goals...all freekicks, yep...all from 2006, most from late semester...

Juninho Pernambucano is a great free-kick taker but my votes goes to Roma's favourite son, Francesco Totti.

    1. Totti
    2. Juninho
    3. Ronaldinho
    4. Nakamura
    5. Deco

Beckham is finished. Even when he was at his peak, he was very good but he isn't anywhere near the great free-kick takers ever.

Totti is by no means one of the best free-kick takers

Nakamura and Juninho P. are the world's best, no-one else comes close.
This may be the greatest free-kick I have ever seen, absolutely inch perfect, and on the biggest stage. He did the same thing at Old Trafford, but this was further out, and completely impossible to save.

While I agree, Pirlo certainly used it to great effect during the world cup. Even if he doesnt score directly, if he creates them, that's what matters.

    Juninho, Beckham.

That Matias Fernandez kid has scored some incredible free kicks and they usually go in. No doubt he will be one of if not the best.

The first excellent free kick taker was Platini, the best now is of course Juninho... but he's not as good as Michel in the game
