I don't know, but I would suspect that advertising competing forums by posting, instead of paid advertising, is a real no-no.
I don't think MatchNight is a competing site (although they do have a forum). USL discussions would be a good example of a competing site:
matchnight.com isn't, but your link in your first post above is directly to the matchnight forums. If it was to the matchnight scoreboard, I would think that would be okay. I'm sure we'll find out whenever the mods notice this thread. I would just change the URL to matchnight.com
It is a cool site, even if they have stopped linking to the YCJ photo collections.
That's where the news articles are. There is no discussion there just the newlinks once you click on one of the forums.
P.S. What does YCJ mean?
If you press the "edit" button, you can fix your old post within something like 144 minutes.
YCJ is Yellow Card Journalism. At least through the May time frame, MatchNight would link to our corresponding photo collections as well as the MLS or WUSA match report. I don't know why they started, or why they stopped. I just tend to notice links to our photos.
