Pauleta on the right wing? RC6 at defensive midfield? Good luck to you sir.

he's not on the right wing...I exaggerated it too much...the forwards are close together. I just wanted to show that they will be playing a wider role than Ibrahimovic will.

And Roberto Carlos isn't a DM...

I'm going to fix these stupid dots so I avoid getting ripped on.

EDIT: by the way, sidenote to UnitedForever, other than Frings being put in in the place of Giggs, I have you spot on my friend :D

Still, Pauleta is more of a center-forward than Ibrahimovic. Ibra would be better out wide than Pauleta IMO.

but Ibrahimovic's height will be needed in the middle, and I don't have height in any of my other forwards, so I was, in a way, 'forced' to put him there. Though I still think that Pauleta will do better against Condor's formation playing slightly wider.

Against condor, where do you have Roberto Carlos positioned?

He's just above the three 'CB's', but below the DM(who is positioned higher than usual). He has the power of a sweeper type position, where he can just move from flank to flank, but I have him protecting the middle. It's somewhat like the position ManU used Ferdinand in for a few games this year.

So you basically put him at Defensive midfield then? Thats where Rio was playing.

That's the difference though. ManU didn't have a DM, whereas I do. My goal was to completely block the middle, and by putting R. Carlos where I did, I now have a DM, and a offensively positioned defender that the opposition has to get through.

I saw this formation used a lot by Leverkusen(pretty sure it was them) when they had that awesome season a few years back and just thought that it would be the perfect idea to deal with Condor's CM's.

Other than the five man backline and Bresciano pushing Gudjohnsen forward to replace Martins we had you down Bruzza.

As for mega yah we expected to see old Seba and Forlan get a run out

I can see why you expected Veron, but Forlan doesn´t really compare to either one of my forwards. Farias plays in a shorter league and hasn´t played all the games, and already has 10, which I think is more than Forlan.

I was expecting Stankovic and Crespo to play every game, but I guess I got lucky. Now I only have to deal with Saviola & Robert :p

Anyone have any idea of when the matches take place, or when the results are posted?

I haven't heard of a deadline. If there is one, I expect DS will let me know.

I'm going to be busy over Easter weekend, but besides that I want to take my time. Some of these matchups are difficult to judge and I want to be as fair as I can, so I don't want to rush it. Plus, I've already run into a couple of players that I have to research a bit.

    Become the Tea Pot!!
Sorry if I didn;t make that clear folks. I suppose the vets of the draft would be familiar and I did forget to inform the new entrants that we generally allow the judges a good amount of time to assess the teams because they're doing this for free and have real lives to lead, plus the group stages are a hell of a lot of work, reading through all of that. So it could take between a week or two, it depends. Sometimes it is really fast and I can post up a groups results as I get the majority ruling, but other times it can be a littler slower.

    Just keep an eye out.

Time isn't an issue for me. We have invested over a month of time in this already. Waiting isn't nearly as taxing now as when we were drafting. I would hope the majority of us are willing to give the judges the time their task warrants.

That doesn't mean I'm not anxious to see how it all pans out. But I can wait.

Projected same lineup, just had Ballack a little further advanced alongside Carvahlo(D).

Projected exactly same line-up position for position, player for player!

So with very similar projections, i think i did the best i could to combat each team with the players at my disposal so good luck to all!

Condor I got one position wrong which was the partner of Crespo. Why not his fellow countryman?
