It’s still the norm. Ex: Barcelona’s kit for 2022.

Hopefully we can echo the 6-2 vs. Colombia and start dumping goals like it was going out of style

I was thinking, either we wreck Qatar or the exclusion of Byron wrecks the team.

Even if Torres was unavailable I think Porozo would get the nod over Arreaga.

There was some rumors that Alfaro had quit the team because of the decision to exclude Byron.

Ecuador seems to be the betting favorite against Qatar.

It most likely means he won’t renew. I understand people about including Byron but there’s already a precedent with Chile which other teams would use to hurt us in the WC.

It sucks that he'll miss out on the WC. The NT is weaker without Byron but the risk of playing him is be too high.

I don't have an issue with him being named to the WC roster. Alfaro has earned the benefit of the doubt when it comes to playing young players in high stakes games. Ayrton and Djorkaeff are questionable inclusions. The argument against Sornoza is that the NT doesn't play con un diez. Okay fine. Alvarado is a LW and has been in much better form. Campana had a solid season with Inter Miami and should have gotten the nod over Djorkaeff. I like Arboleda but how much can we expect out of him. He's played one half since June. Luis Fernando Leon would have been a better option. Or even Joel Ordoñez tbh.

Will he make it back in time for the game against Ecuador?

Probably not. Bayern were hoping he would not play at all and recover but Senegal chose to bring him anyway.

What's the story here? I heard some rumors after Ecuador qualified but nothing more. What make him ineligible?
