We have seen a few games after flights on gameday without any problems. Always booked the earlies flight of the day just to decrease risk of missing due to delays.

But we are flying to Fortaleza today and staying for a few days extra before going for the semis. Not willing to risk as much when the games are getting bigger and bigger.

Wanting to try and change my flight out of BSB to SDU or GIG to before 10 July now, hard to get in touch with TAM as well.

Annoying thing is i I can grab a flight with Avianca for $80, but this would cancel out my ticket also from GIG - CGH.

Probably have to skip the game 60 because there's no flights with reasonable prices after the game/6th day to Sao Paulo.

I am curious about something. If your flight is so tightly scheduled that you don't have time to go to your hotel, but have to go to the stadium with your (hand) luggage. What options do you have? I have a small backpack and a small carry on suitcase. Obviously they won't let you into the stadium with it. Are there lockers anywhere, maybe downtown in Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Rio between airports and stadium?

Thanks for answering my ridiculous question in advance.

I've heard some airports have lockers. I've seen lockers at GRU.

Actually I saw two guys at the first game in Manaus with their hand luggage.

That's good to know. Still a pain in the butt though. Thanks both of you for your answers. I will figure it out somehow :D.

Most of the airports have lockers on the exterior of the building.
The other day in SP for the Argentina game I noticed the thing was that full they were storing items on top of the lockers

Belo has lockers but bigger bags have to be stored in a room. That closes at 7pm so no use for semi day trip. So beware.

I must be lucky. All my flights on day of game have so far been perfect.

I had two separate matches where I had two flights day of the match and both worked out ok. My only issue was a time change on one of the flight combinations.
