So we replaced Gourcuff with Ribery in the middle. Mexico is playing very compact out back and we have no one that can shoot from far away like Gourcuff.
La grande gueule d'Anelka n'a toujours rien fait de different! He's still playing in the midfield and not our front. Out Anelka and Govou - bring in Henry, Gignac!

Agreed with the two previous posts, but the worst is that we're leaving huge gaps in the back and are constantly failing to win balls in the air. Mexico is getting good looks on their shots--if this continue, they'll end up finding the net.

Might need Govou in there because he actually plays defense and tries to get back to help Sagna. Mexico is having a field day with him.

I know Gourcouff hasn't been great, but he can't he do a better job than Rivery in the middle? Henry for Anelka? Anelka has been terrible. That last free kick got Toulalan booked and almost resulted in a 3-1 break. Just terrible.

Too many players who all want to play on the left.

On the other hand, I think Toulalan has been good, too bad he picked up a yellow, he's broken up a lot of attacks. Diaby's been good too. Malouda has looked too strong for the Mexican defense, but the final product has been wanting.

I have never seen such a disorganized back line, they are positioned rather like a frequency wave. Very lucky that the individual players are good, Lloris is very good, and that Mexico just can't finish.

I'm worried about this referee "evening things up" by giving a yellow to France....and that yellow going to Toulalan.

This has been our problem all along. We could have a hundred more good looks on the France goal and we'd be lucky to make one. What a terrible curse...

If only everyone could play with the passion of Toulalan.

Wasted effort, I wish Ireland had made it now, at least they would have played with passion. Go home France, go away Domenech, this WC is a disgrace.

France got what they deserved, and im not trolling btw.
Thats why you dont cheat in the qualifiers and also

Bring back Zidane, despite being retired, he will probably still outplay Ribery and co.

Whats wrong with the French team? Sorry but I haven't payed attention to the French team since 06 and I'm not trying to 'insult' you guys because im really curious. I always had a soft spot for you guys. Watching the game against Mexico is just painful.
