    Got the same feeling:(

I can't see China beating Iraq or Australia.

Talk about a bad draw. There goes our chance of going to South Africa.

I'm looking forward to some exciting games :D

Can anyone tell me where the Australia VS China game is likely to be played in China?

I'd like to go along if possible ^_^

    I'm guessing Guangzhou.

Iraq won't be playing at home so they might lose point in their home matches, but I am more worried about Qatar.

The only positive thing now is that coach Zhu is gone.

It is stated last month in Chinese media that the new China NT would have several friendlies in January 2008 but only one with UAE was confirmed and the manager of the Chinese team planned to discuss friendlies with other teams when he met other team managers in Durban. Don't know if has got a deal or not now.

It looks like the first match against Iraq will be in Doha, Qatar. http://www.the-afc.com/eng/articles/viewArticle.jsp_164397152.html

Why Doha? Iraq's home game should be in a neutral place. Qatar is in the same group.

Because Doha is much hotter than Damascus so it can grill the Chinese players.

Don't know why CFA don't try to have friendlies with Middle Eastern powerhouses like Saudi and Iran in preparation with the opening match against Iraq.

Yea, hopefully in the Middle East they'll have less of a chance of trying to stomp a motha' ;)
