It seems every single 'star player' is scoring. I don't remember a World Cup with this being the case. I can only say I hope it's a trend that continues for us.

ESPN has reached full on insufferable mode. Messi scoring played directly in to their narrative they launced of how a good World Cup makes him the greatest player ever.

Portugal getting 0.0 exposure because they play on the same day as the U.S. Any exposure we get is concerning Ronaldos leg.

What a bunch of clueless sheep they are. And of course all of their "expert" analysts are all in for Messi/Argentina.

They want so badly to be broadcasting history that they are going out of their way to convince the audience they are witnessing it.

Oh so messi won't score another goal this tournament? Good to know.

And those two disallowed dos santos goals were bad. Group A refs have been terrible

Craig Forrest is a giant douche. They were talking about Ronaldo and shown him smile so naturally Craig said "let's see if Ronaldo will be smiling after the game"

Then he said it was Ronaldo vs Germany.

What a douche. He knows nothing about the game despite being a professional goalie.

I bet his wife was banged by some pork chop when he was finishing his basement or he had a cold espresso at Nova Era bakery.

He said the playoffs vs Bosnia were "to close to call" he chose Ivory Coast over Portugal in 2010 and he has already picked Ghana for second this time. I don't believe he made a prediction vs Sweden, but he did say he fancied their chances to get a result the first game in Portugal. He is always wrong but he will never change. He in many ways represents the feeling and attitudes many "angry white men" have towards us (love that line Z)

If Portugal wins 5-0 it won't change, facts have not changed them so far, so it may take another decade or so of good results for angry white men to say "fu*k it, they are pretty good".

You're absolutely right. Craig Forrest has predicted Portugal to go out in the first round in pretty much every single competition since he started doing television....it's incredible.
We can win the World Cup...and in 2 years time at the Euro, he'll pick us to go out in the first round again.
    The hatred is too strong.

"Angry White Men" were showing a lot of restrained jubilation today.

At least they don't have Jason DeVos on this program. He's worse than Craig Forrest.

Belgium 2-1 they came back from 1-0 down

Seems the northern/ central euro sides are doing good

Meanwhile the two teams you would think would be more comfortable in Brazil - portugal and Spain have shat the bed.

Although we did so much worse with their self destruction

    Brasiu 0-0 Mexico

Hard to imagine Braziu getting past a team like Germany or Netherlands at this point , maybe even Italy would best em

That said, we put on the worst performance of all teams so far although we faced a powerful opponent and had everything go against us

Ocha was the difference. Brazil don't have that swagger like Holland do. And Neymar should really cut his hair, looks like a skunk.

Btw, Watching Scolari giving fits on the bench was hilarious.

Ochoa, the Mexican keeper, sounds like a Nigerian name, for example Uchebo, Onazi or Omeruo (at least superficially).

Brazil look lethargic, Mexico has Croatia last game and Brazil has Cameroon so still fancy Brazil to top the group.

Australia and Netherlands played a great game

Tim Cahill a bigger WC legend than CR7, not to mention Van Persie and Robben

we are probably the worst team in this WC, injuries, cards, Turkish league superstars.

if Bento doesnt get them to play anti football , CR7 in the middle to save his knees, we ARE ********ED

sick of this embarassment, USA needs to be defeated, even 1-0 is enough, I dont care.

a revolution must be done for Euro 2016 QFs

    Dude, over reaction city.

We beat Ireland 5-1, should have been 7 or 8, and we have a shot to win the group.

We lose to Germany in a somewhat (although no excuses) BS game, and we're the worst team in the World Cup. lol.

    I love you Z, but c'mon man.
