I hope they make it easy on themselves and take care of business but they might be in for let down after all the celebrations this past weekend and they have enjoyed making it tough at times this season.

Birmingham's next game is against Preston, who destroyed fellow promotion chasers Cardiff 6:0 last weekend. Their final game is against Reading who, after their win tonight, could potentially still finish second in the table, if other results went their way. The likelihood is that Birmingham will drop at least a few points, and even if they didn't, they are very unlikely to score sufficient goals against such tough opposition to better Wolves' superior goal difference. Of course, if we get thrashed in our final two games, then that's another matter.

United Soccer Association winners 1967, and National American Soccer League winners 1969 - you'd have thought we'd have some sort of following in the US. Hell, we lost Peter Knowles to the Jehovahs Witnesses while representing Kansas City. A bit of a waste if we didn't make a lasting impact over there. :(

Well, can't think of the past only the present and future, this is when we each need to recruit one new fan who recruits one new fan and so on and so on to the point where there is yellow and black all over the place in US pubs and in airplanes flying over to attend matches!!:p:cool:

I'm an ex-pat recently moved from Shropshire to VA so I'll do my bit to convert the masses to the OLD GOLD and black.

Not seen another Wolves shirt over here yet though.

I'm not surprised Barnsley played it that hard at home. They are fighting to stay out of the drop zone. They at least got a point to help the cause.

Around the league, Peterborough has won promotion to the Championship, and Brentford cinched up the League Two title to get promotion.

Burnley tied and Swansea lost, so only Preston North End has a chance to get into the playoffs. The Whites have to beat Birmingham to keep their hopes alive.

Sheffield's win over Swansea means the Blues must win to clinch promotion. If they tie, then they are still in Sheffield U's sights. If the lose and Reading wins, then Reading still has a shot at auto promotion.

That would be great but WBA has been beat up more than enough this year. Of course they won today. What was that all about are they going to pull a Fulham? It is probably too late for them.

One more question for everyone. Who do you think the Wolves should be looking at in the summer to pick up.

You are right about WBA I had a moment of weakness. You are probably right about them not pulling any MLS players but there some good ones out there. How about Jozy Altidore? He doesnt get much playing time in Spain from what I understand. Although I really dont follow the spanish league.

Birmingham City lost. :p Preston North End is now within striking distance of the playoffs.

Preston North End can take out Burnley if they win, and Burnley either loses or ties.

Reading plays their match #45 tomorrow, so they still also have a shot at the auto-promotion spot.

In other news, Southampton was relegated, so they will take their 10-point administration penalty to League One next year.

Congrats on Promotion. I had the pleasure of sitting next to the Wolves away fans at Derby a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely amazing. Well done. Definately hope you guys can stay up and move forward.

Thanks. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Reading get all three points against Birmingham (and I wouldn't be too upset at seeing Birmingham miss out on promotion :D). You just have to hope that Neil 'Colin' Warnock plays a strong lineup against his former team (it doesn't help you that he's a Blades fan either).

Stearman got the winner in at 90+2'.

    Wolves 1-0 Doncaster

Unfortunately Reading couldn't do its job. Birmingham won the other auto-promotion slot.

Well, I am most focused now on who we should or shouldn't keep, who we should or shouldn't pick up rather than the others coming up with us.

As for those new away kits.
