Great and wonderful news. Don't know his condition but if he remember his passion for football he hopefully can watch the game.
A testament to Germany's consistency in the WC era. Also, are they including the DDR in these calculations or just West Germany?
Hoping for this: ----------------------------Weidenfeller/Neuer------------------------- Durm-------------Boateng-------------Hummels---------Großkreutz -–----–---------------Lahm----------Schweinsteiger------------------- Schürrle------------------------Özil------------------------------Müller ---------------------------------Klose--------------------------------------
official lineup Neuer-Boateng,Hummels,Mertesacker,Höwedes-Lahm,Khedira-Özil,Kroos,Götze- Müller Jogi trolled us all
I love the optimism of the line-up. Playing our two most gifted but out of form players. Interesting. Ideally this is what we want to see, a 4-3-3 with our three most talented attacks but we have yet to see them all click upon starting so this is some test for Löw to do this. All of Schürrle, Podolski, and Klose best off bench so we have that alternative. As predicted. Start with 4-3-3, then possibly shift to 4-2-3-1.
lol lol 4 central defender plus Lahm and Kroos will play deep and won't be dangerous except maybe for some distance shot from Kroos plus Khedira with them who is as dangerous as Neuer
Loew was never going to start Podolski ahead of the great talents of this generation Poldi has routinely failed - i wouldn't bank my future on him either
Götze - Müller - Özil Kroos - Lahm - Khedira Höwedes - Hummels - Merte - Boateng Neuer ====> Götze - Müller - Özil Kroos - Hummels-Lahm-- Khedira Höwedes - Merte - Boateng I'm waiting to see how Hummels can evolve himself, maybe running forward a lot more, or could be a striker himself
No width, no pace. I'm not optimistic about this starting XI. At least we can give Löw credit for trolling everyone, no?
