I spoke with Sam before the location was announced and was told there would be a roped-off section for the Cauldron. I would assume it will be the last section on one end or the other of the stands.

The Cauldron is in the center of the east stand, section K. The pitch of the stands is steep enough that it shouldn't block much of the view.

No Sudakas Wed...Argentina plays Mexico and Boca plays in the Libertadores final.

Isn't Aces & 8's just a couple miles away? IIRC, they were an official Wizards watch party host a couple years ago.

I was by there not to long ago and it was. Oh, and I remembered that Lucky Brewgrille is right there. That was the other place I was thinking of.

Looking at the Blue Moose website, they are owned by KC Hopps, the same company that owns both Wizards watch parties sites: Barley's Brewhaus and O'Dowd's (as well as 810 Zone who had watch parties in the past). One would think they would be "soccer-friendly"

They have one of the best specials in KC on Thursdays. $1.50 bottles, anything including Newcastle, Stella and other premiums that usually cost 3-4 a pop.

I saw that and couldn't believe it, incredible deal. Tomorrow's special is $2.50 local micro brews on draft (blvd wheat, blvd pale ale, 75th st. fountain city amber, and 75th st. rasberry wheat). $10 sangria pitchers too.

what's the tv situation like? couldn't find any pictures to show what they had.

    Re: How difficult is it

I called blue moose and spoke to their manager. He said he could have the game on tv and would even put on sound for us. This looks like the place to go.

    Re: How difficult is it

Well now that you've posted it you better call back and clarify some things with the guy. You might tell him quite a few people are going to show up if he puts it on. And that we'll be counting on the game being on, which is worth mentioning since we've shown up at bars before who didn't really believe we would show up and missed the game.

Matt, Goalie, JUSTICE!, Jared and I will be there.

I called earlier and left a message, so hopefully they get the hint that this is a group gathering. Myself +4 will be there.

Well....somebody (read: not me :D ) makes sure that they know a lot of Wiz fans are showing up and they had better be prepared with at least a couple of TVs, beers, etc.

They have lots of TVs in their bar area. I watched some of the Big 12 tourney there in March and I could see a game from every angle I was standing. It reminds me of Dave and Buster's bar where they have a TV at all angles.

If this bar was up north, it would be my bar of choice.
