Wow....would this be the first Iranian in MLS if he sticks? We are truly going international. I love it!

    Arizona Sahuaros tweet from yesterday...

Must have seen something we liked when we played them a couple weeks ago.

    dead in a ditch
Also Mohammed Khakpour, who had some decent moments for NY, and Arash "No Moves" Noamouz from the early days of the Galaxy.

Sunil was linked to Celtic, and was denied a work permit for QPR. not too much bigger than Watson.

Mohammed Khakpour. He still lives in the US...he must be very lonely as a Persian in the LA area.

Getting a work permit for QPR is the same as getting a work permit for Celtic. He couldn't get either, because India aren't ranked 75th+ in the FIFA rankings.

The club is training out of state at the moment, limiting the ability for most supporters to see them or update.

I really hope something positive happens here, when he couldnt get a contract in Coventry and QPR he slumped into bad form for a couple of months and his form is very crucial for our NT!!!!

Tell us about him .... you know far more than any of us do. What kind of player is he? Speedy? Tall? Goalscorer or maker? Bruiser?

You are obviously a fan -- tell us why :)

Here's an article summing up a friendly game between Kansas City and Columbus, which Sunil played in. He played the 1st half of the game.

    Here's the interesting part...

Kansas City was given a way back into the game not long after Carroll’s strike, as forward Josh Wolff was brought down in the box after running on to a pinpoint pass from trialist forward Sunil Chhetri. :)
