I guess I kinda like Reading's jersey, but I want some solid blue stripes that are vertical, like Newcastle jerseys. Because so few teams have them over here, it would actually look original.:D NO FADING AT THE END! XD

I really like our current shirts...just change out the crest for something new/original and it's perfect. no stripes, hoops, and no "banana sides."

Does anybody else NOT like collars on jerseys? We had them a couple of years ago, and I hated them. I like our current uniforms, but maybe go back to all blues for home games. I do like the white/blue mix on the road.

I actually like the collar from a couple of years ago, the jersey I wear is a game-worn Victorine with the collar. I guess I like them because the first "real" jersey I had when I started playing back in 1982 had a collar....

I like collars on soccer jerseys. It seems more dignified and professional.

I cant stand them, I think they look ridiculous. Collars belong on dress shirts and polo shorts, not a sports uniform. I have had to wear jerseys with collars before playing and I couldnt stand them because they would pop up all the time. I really dont understand the point of adding extra material to a shirt worn to play a sport.

I Have Played With And Without Collars And Either Way Doesnt Matter To Me...as Long As The Collars Arent Huge By Any Means And The Materail Of The Shirt Is Breathable!!!

As Afar As The Colors For The Jerseys...i Like The Solid Blue..everyone Seems To Be Going To Multi- Color And Stripes And Such...too Many Looking Alike But Different Shades Of Color..stay Solid I Say...but Maybe Doing Something Different With The Crest Or Shield....

They're supposed to pop up on jerseys. That's why they were originally put on there. They play soccer and rugby in cold weather over in the Europe. Popping the collar keeps you neck out of the breeze.

Thus continuing with the European tradition of making sure your neck is covered at all times.

I understand that but it still doesnt do much and considering we play in the hottest time of year it doesnt make much sense. I just thinks it looks ridiculous.

No doubt your pet and your accountant agree with you.

In the states, it's just as easy to do like every other cold weather outdoor team does...and put on a turtleneck shirt.

The turtleneck: In athletics, a shirt that, BTW, is more practical than a collar as it is fixed, usually thicker, covers the entire circumference of the neck, and provides a look for soccer that isn't borrowed form the early 80's.

1880's maybe. Does no one realize that the first clubs played in their collard work shirts while on break from working in the factories, or just because they owned no other shirts?

Scope these footy players from Limavady United's 1875 squad showing off some bad-ass silverwear.

So do you think Grizzly Adams there is the coach, or did they scout an Amish prodigy a la Kingpin?

Do you guys know if KC will use the new primary logo for their jerseys/merchandise in '08? I follow KC almost as much as I do FCD, but I can not bring myself to wear a rainbow.
