I think they should target a Uefa spot.

I agree, even if Roma wins out they'll need some favorable results in the other matches to advance as all the other teams are on 6 points.

    A.S.ROMA
    Football club or soap opera??????

    Matchday1.
    A.S.ROMA 0-1 DYNAMO KYIV
    Goran Gavrancic scores brilliant freekick.
Phillipe Mexes acts like a stupid twat and gets sent off for assinine kick.
Fans pelt ref with coin, match abandoned at halftime.

    Matchday2.
    REAL MADRID 4-2 A.S.ROMA
Daniele De Rossi scores an early goal to calm nerves.
Antonio Cassano doules Roma's advantage, 2-0 less than 20 mins gone!
Raul scores on a bizarre deflection 1-2, they trail.
Halftime (no coin hurlign, match continues!)
Raul wins or steals or cheats the most foolish penalty this football fan has EVER SEEN. Luis Figo scores 2-2, Roma look broken.
Raul scores off Figo cross with a flick inside 6 yard box.
Roberto Carlos miskicks and scores (i say miskick cuz when he actually shots the fans in the stands look more likely to need to make a save than a keeper).

    Matchday3.
Francesco Totti scores on a deflected freekick (called an own goal)
    Halftime.
Roque Junior equalises for Leverkusen (appears clearly offside)
Leandro Cufre has perfectly legitimate goal called back for offside.
Jacek Kryznowek makes it 2-1 for Leverkusen.
Christian Panucci sent off for elbowing Kryznowek (harsh call)
Daniele De Rossi sent off for crazy tackle (hmm, it all happens)
Franca rounds off scoring and puts Leverkusen 3-1 up.

WHERE ARE THE STREAKERS, only thing that i haven't yet heard of at Roma game......

On any regular day, we stop and reflect, appreciating our team's current situtation, knowing that it could be worse if we were Lazio. :D

our backs are against the wall. i think that our season will improve but perhaps given our situation concentrating on getting back into the scudetto race is the best choice. i'm not saying give up hope but we don't have any points and we are half way finished with the 1st round, not to mention we still will play in an empty olimpico a couple of times.

what a strange ride it's been so far!! 2004 has not been good to ROMA (remember we did not lose last season until we played milan just after the new year).

Newcastle did it a few years ago and if results go their way in other games i think Roma have the players to get them the results they need.
