the two questions are strictly related. there's one thing that sticks out in my mind about these 12 dropped points... no pagis. why not?
Even though OM are going through a bad spell i think they will make the top 3. Djib Cisse should make a huge difference. he will score goals no doubt, honestly once Djib gets going he is gonna be on fire!! As for Ribery, If OM make the CL I think he will stay if the club show they are serious in the transfer market next summer.
i think the situation will change long before this summer. if OM doesn't come out of their present slump in a big way before the winter break, both emon and ribéry are gone.
6 matches left before the mercato. they will need more than 12 points from them, 7 minimum in the next three outings, to get back on track.
There are no clear 2nd and 3rd best teams out there just a bunch of average and mediocre ones so they have just a good a chance as any for a top 3 spot.
That unexperienced defense will cost them too many points… I think Lille, Saint-Etienne and perhaps Lens and Nancy will finish above them…
