Why is the Toon allegedly after Steed Malbranque?

I don't get it. I don't think he's that great. Would he replace Bowyer as the team hothead?

However, I do like the suggestion that if Viller wants to keep Milner, that the Toon get Gareth Barry in exchange.

You mean apart from Solano, Emre, N'Zogbia and if he plays Dyer

N'Zogbia doesn't have the vision yet in my opinion, and neither does Dyer, but they both have great feet. Emre and Solano have both. I'm not sold on Steed though.
