1. Chicago - Lost Brimstone Cup to Dallas ... nearly traded Josh Wolff for Rodrigo Faria ... watched Wolff tear his ACL on fake plastic grass. 2. D.C. United - Missed two penalty kicks against Kansas City ... set MLS record for most consecutive scoreless minutes in one season ... haven't won since June ... thinks signing Henry Zambrano is a good idea. 3. Kansas City - Only managed a tie with last place D.C. United ... lost 5-1 to Chicago ... had Nick Garcia and Tony Meola red-carded in 90th minute of a 4-1 game. 4. MetroStars - Didn't play on Saturday ... started the week as the 2nd seed in the playoffs ... currently the #8 seed ... turned down Josh Wolff for Rodrigo Faria offer. 5. New England - Lost to Los Angeles ... had to play in Rochester on 48 hours rest ... barely managed to salvage a draw with Rochester.
If you add a bonus day to the Wizards, they lost 7-0 (or was it 6-1? who can remember?) to Morelia to kick off their lovely road trip. Is it true the Fire almost traded Wolff? Is it true Wolff screwed up his ACL?
Wow, I heard that Wolff hurt himself, but nothing like an ACL. I hope it is something less than an ACL injury. That would really suck for him, the MLS, and the national team.
Re: Re: Who's Having the Worst Week? Bradley is taking a page out of Arena's book by attacking his best player. Someone needs to tell Bradley that it doesn't usually work. Yes, if you win a few braindead morons will proclaim you a genius, but that's about it.
