My girlfriend just got me tickets to MLS cup and I was wondering who was going. We got the best $40 seats available and they were 16 rows up. When we looked at the best $70 seats available they were on the 18 yard line and were 10 rows up. This tells me that tickets are going fast, especially considering we were only looking for 2 seats. Usually you can find a good seat when you're only looking for 2 seats.
I'm going. I've been to every MLS Cup except the one time it was played in California. Thanks for the heads up regarding tickets (I haven't bought mine yet).
I'm going. Note to travelers, get to the stadium extra early. There is only one road leading up to the stadium. It gets pretty slow as it gets closer to gametime.
oh my god yes. I went to the T&T qualifier and the Holland game there and it was crazy. We actually missed the first goal against T&T
Yeah, I went to the Jamaica game last year, waited 30 minutes in the final road. then 15 minutes at the gates for security. We got in at the national anthem. There were still at least a thousand people out of the stadium when Joe-max scored early. The Holland game however, I learned to get their early and got in right as the gates were opening.
Am stilll hoping but it's looking increasingly doubtful. San Diego is a long way from Foxboro. Will probably wait for 2003 when it's played at Home Depot (it is, isn't it?).
Supposedly, yes. You know MLS... That is what I'm going to do since I live one hour and 40 minutes away from where It is being built at. I still can't believe I didn't go to the '98 final. Just because it was the Fire vs DC, and I disliked both teams at that time. Silly me. Won't go to this year's because of college and other reasons. -Betty Bree
If the G's make it, I'll be there again to see them....though I'm getting tired of flying accross the country to see them fall at the last hurdle.
I'm still laughing at how Flamer fans could chant "we should be here" when one of the finalists (yes, the losing one) knocked them out of both the Playoffs and the Cup.
somebody had to make noise... you guys weren't making any, san jose wasn't making any, and the local crew contingent wasn't making any if you want to bitch about it, be louder than us... other than that... what do you expect?
DC United vs. LA It is in Foxboro so it has to be DC United vs. LA. SJ has to be worried if DC gets the 8th playoff spot. It will be a close shave but DC will win in the Big Razor! What else would you expect, remember the game is in Foxboro! http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Base/3833/challengecup/MLSPlayoffs2002.html
If the fire make it, I will use the few dollars I have to pay for food while I walk there. Hey fire Go lo lo lo.....
