I am probably the biggest Ben Folds fan in history. The Luckiest was my wedding song.

If you like BF, listen to Andrew Bird. He's GOD. GOD I tell you!

"Armchair Apocrypha" is his new one. It's phenomenal. So is "The Mysterious Production of Eggs" and "Fingerlings".

He's so damn talented. Check him out, I promise you'll like him.

If you listen to his music, there's parts that sound like a flute or another instrument....it's actually him whistling. Andrew Bird is an absolutely AMAZING whistler.

    Good Sir,
Many thanks for the suggestion. I am still trying to wrap my head around most of this album. Scythian Empires was so startling refreshing I wasnt sure what to make of it and it forced me to make repeated listenings to get a grasp what was going on. I am enjoying going through the rest of the album and looking forward to the rest of Mr Bird oeuvre.

Wait till you see him live.

Armchair Apocrypha is incredible and I love The Mysterious Production of Eggs. Armchair though should be in everyone's rotation. For me it is the best album since OK Computer.

New job I start on Monday. Much more money, teaching history full-time. Early quitting time (2:10pm) AND last period of the day happens to be one of my two prep periods so really I'll be done at 1:30pm everyday. Jealous? Teaching rules...good gig, if you can get it.

I can't take seriously the word of a man who once owned an Arsenal and a Liverpool jersey. Sorry, I just can't.

I say ni to you and I fart in your general direction.
