Seeing we have one for the "bigger" of the two tournaments I'd like to ask everyone who they think will win the trophy "which truely determines how good your league is over how big the club is". I'll leave my opinon for later on in the poll but I'm curious to see who they think will win the most underrated club trophy in Europe.

i voted other simply because this tournament is unpredictable. milan, Olympiakos, Bordeaux, Tottenham are all out
I think now that the embaressement of a Italian team called AC Milan are out, Werder Bremen have a good chance. They're also not really competing for a spot in Bundesliga so they have a small advantage pressure wise. I also think Zenit can win, but I'm supporting Udinese!
Given the hype on this board, most of the Italian teams have vastly under performed. The one thing I'll say who has lived up to his hype is Chiellini.
udinese has made it through to the next round. they might be the only italian team left in europe in a few weeks. they are not in the copa italia and like bremen, they have no pressure in their domestic league.
Plus they have a fair few good players. If the likes of Di Natale are in the mood then they will cause problems for any of the remaining teams.
that's the thing about udinese though, they play as if they don't even care sometimes. but my pick btw ( i forgot to mention ) would be either ajax or cska to win the uefa.
He was the best left-back in Serie A his last year at Fiorentina, according to Gazzetta. And yes, that was right smack in Zambrottas prime. So, as usual, you have no fucking idea what you're talking about.
EDIT: As I said initially he had a lot of potential but it was only realised when he moved centrally. It is when he became a key player and established himself to the rest of Europe. I, of course, had already stated that he would be better playing centrally.
I wagered $20 on Man City to win back in August and although they haven't been great, I think from this point forward they will take the UEFA Cup more seriously (certainly compared to how other EPL sides approached the last round) as they have nothing else to play for this season. So I'm sticking with my original pick.
How is that relevant? Liverpool almost sold Gerrard. I hope you're not trying to say Gerrard is just hype.
There is a big difference between an established player wanting a new challenge and a club actively looking to sell a youngster because they see no place for him in the side.
The Juventus organisation, from owners to management, did not expect Chiellini to return from the pre-season tour of England. A simple search will provide you with the relevant quotes.
Is that why they extended his contract and raised his salary right after they received the bid from Man Siteh?
