That would work, although he's not as cute and I have no idea what his abs look like.

Closest you'll get is Ziade. Stich a couple of letters switched and one dropped.

I hope not. Mathis is a slug. The problem is, Donovan is creative, fast, quick, smart and deadly accurate. EJ is like getting another Ching. We need a guy like......I said "like" Ruiz. We have a target fwd in Ching. Jaqua is ok but I like Gavin and I think he would work well with Ching.

That is the obvious answer, isn't it? Getting him locked up should be prioity number one when LD goes.

-Obrien won't leave Ajax (as cool as it would be for him to become a Quake).

-The Real Madrid suggestions (Owen, Figo, Zidane) are down right crazy.

-Lewis would be nice, but I doubt he would leave

-EJ, Gaven, Jaqua and Esky are all needed badly by their current teams. I don't think they nor MLS will let them go else where.

-DeRosario needs to be re-signed ASAP, no question.

-How about (from MLS) getting Zavighin from KC? He did good in the Panama match?

Zavagnin and Mulrooney on the field at the same time?
    Nope. Too defensive.

Maybe Adrian Mutu would want to rehab his reputation around here? ;)
That would be some marketing trick.

Isn't Eddie Lewis making ridiculous money with Preston? I thought I read somewhere he was making something like 750,000 pounds a year, but I could be wrong.

I thought Rob Stone said Mathis and Keller were going to play for RSL next season?

I thought it was about $400K. Still, too much for MLS.

And too much for Eddie.....I love the guy and god knows we need a left wing but that's all he is, a left wing. Lewis on the left and Mullan on the right would be very nice.

He's with Birmingham I believe... and they're not doing great. Darren's go the skill, but for many of the years of his career, he spent most of his time with the physio.

No one boo-hissing my notion of Rebrov? Rather more Donovan like than a lot of the suggestions?

Seriously, Azizi was a good player, but his ego got in the way. Somehow, he looked at the league like it was a piece a cake...........red cards galore, but why not look south to get players. Yesterday, I watched a game on Goal TV from Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The classics, Jaime Moreno, Etcheverry, Vaca, are from that area; the level was good. They have young players with lot of talent. I'm sure MLS can afford them - a bargain actually
