Is Roberto Martinez set to leave Belgium after this World Cup? I'm just wondering.

I think we were all in our right to complain about his ass due to the shitty results we had with him the past 2-3 years.

Germany victory was impressive no doubt and Mexico played well. I'll give credit where credit is due, but I won't succumb to getting on my knees and start blowing him and calling him a genius and beg him to stay. If we're gonna praise rational decisions as some form of high level God status genius IQ, then ahi se ven.

Dude finally did what he was expected to do in regards to lineups, tactics, and contundencia.

I think they're gonna go with Almeyda. Dude is out of a job and the fmf is too lazy to go through a hiring process. What matters is that Mexico brings in money no matter how they're playing.

I dunno if Almeyda would take the job

After bullshit he recently went through at Chivas under Vergara, Higuera, etc., the clowns at the FMF would be much worse

And it’s not just the FMF and club owners, he’d also have to deal with agents, promoters, sponsors, and Televisa.

The FMF is a shit show

Then again, money talks. They offer him a hefty contract that meets some of his demands then he might take it

What about Gareca? Although, I think Argentina might be after him.

Lo que hizo con Peru para llegar es grande...PERO ya ahi es otra cosa.

We can say Peru played to it's limit with it's players and talent pool ; many will say Peru was unlucky. I agree they could have put chances away but I don't see him as a step forward.

Peru was pretty much locked into their formation due to the player pool, I think they punched above their weight due to the fact they simply played together for a long time.

If Osorio leaves after WC, I wouldn't mind Gareca as his successor.

I prefer Pekerman over Gareca anyday. But lets try to get Low if he's available.

Me hubiera gustado que cuauhtemoc fuera entrenador. Los muchachos pondrian los huevos todos los partidos, y las conferencias de prensa serian los mejores del mundo.

Bueno, pero Cuau tiene responsabidad mas importante que el futbol...

Tbh I Wouldn’t be against sampaoli..

I can imagine a lot of argentine players throwing hissy fits in the locker room/not obeying him, just because that’s how they generally are..

With Mx I don’t think there’d be that type of drama within the squad. With the media, that’s a different story..
