How could you leave out The Three Investigators?

 

Or the Famous Five?

 

Or those meddling kids who run with Scooby Doo?

Zoinks, is the intellectual rigour in this forums is declining or what?

 

Clearly Encyclopedia Brown.

Except that he's a few years away still from being a teenager.

 

I don't think anybody from Scooby Doo is worth mentioning it always puzzled me that the monster would ALWAYS chase Shaggy and Scooby, and the rest would come running, even 4 year old's could see the pattern.

 

They get my vote.

 

I'll second the vote for Rin Tin Tin...

 

First thing I thought of.

 

Tin Tin, followed by Encyclopedia Brown.

 

They would get my vote. Although Jupiter did most of the actual detective work.

 

Tin Tin is a reporter, not a detective...

 

I remembered that about 50 minutes later whilst working. I knew Rin Tin Tin didn't sound right. Sheesh...

 

The Great Brain was smarter than all those fools.

 

EB wasn't so bright when it came to finance.

The Hardy Boys, I couldn't get past the generational gap.

Nobody read Nancy Drew as a boy. If the wrong people got a hold of that information they'd tear you a new one.

But I went with EB.
