Curious what other WC and Non-Group E Teams that you're rooting for.

    1. US of A
    2. Whomever plays Mexico

My dad is from Belgium, so I rooted for them historically, but they're not there.
I'll root for Italy in the latter stages, but not the group stages.
Holland, the Socceroos, and England are the other sides getting my support.

(hopefully Italy doesn't make it to the knockout stage :) )

England - I have actually finally spent time in another country, and I loved it there, so for once I'm not picking my second team out of my ass. I really hope they do well.

Other than that I almost always root for the underdog. I want Japan to beat Brazil, Ivory Coast to hammer Argentina and Angola to embarass Mexico. :)

Yeah, I know I know. But I figure if neither is my first team, then I can get away with it. :D

I'll be pulling for the real underdog teams like T&T to pull an upset... Togo too! :)

Otherwise, I'll typically root for the underdog, as well.

although they have beat us in the last two world cups I have a lot of respect for their players, fans and Federation. Win or lose they are generally good sportsman and always give credit where credit is due.

I want CONCACAF to do well. I would rather Costa Rica and TNT do better than Mexico though.

    3-Costa Rica
    4-Mexico
    5-England

    ...

    31-Saudi Arabia
    32-Iran

    1. All other Concacaf teams.
    ...
yes, even Mexico. It drives me crazy; all three Concacaf sides made it to the second round in the last world cup, and yet people say we don't have to play against anyone to qualify. The whole region deserves more respect.

    2. Germany, my birth country - despite the fact that I don't remember it and don't speak any more of the language than JFK did.

    3. Socceroos.

Actually, not to nitpick, but CR didn't make it to the second round. They did very well and I think they ended up going out on goal differential. Considering they were in a group with the eventual winners and 3rd place team, I think they did damn good.

holland, portugal, and it would be nice if costa rica did well. I'll probably watch brazil and england games too, just cause I know more of the players than on some other national teams.

    After the USA

    Germany
    South Korea
    Sweden

In that order. I have both German and Korean blood, so that explains them, but being an Army brat I lived in Germany and I was born in South Korea (plus my mom's Korean). I chose Sweden as well because I was up there for a week long rafting trip and it was just pretty as hell.
