According to the Red bull website, players, coaches team with sales reps to drive ticket sales I knew I bought my tickets too soon! Ah well, if anyone out there got a chance to talk to one of the players or coaches, dish out the goods. What did they say?
Renewing early got me a free jersey though, so, I'd take that over a phone call from Jon Conway, fun though that may be. Ditto the people that got parking passes, etc.
I read this post on metrofanatic where the guy posting said Dema called him. He was so inspired, he bought season tickets. See, I told you Dema was worth every penny!
I bought season tickets for the first time sometime in October. Can someone explain the "Meet the Team Day" event, that is described in the season ticket sales pitch? Thank You.
After a match one night, the team will sit at tables in the practice bubble and the season ticket holders will form a long line that snakes into the bubble where we stand in lines to get as many autographs, handshakes, and photos as we can in the allotted time.
You forget the part where season ticket holders are made to walk from a gate near the bubble, all the way around the stadium, to just wind up on the other side of the bubble. Also, the strategy is to get the VIP's first, as they will never set foot in the Bulls Corner Pub.
The event is actually scheduled to be on the field after the game. The last 2 seasons the weather prevented this.
You want to stand in 101, but have a golf cart carry you to see the players in person? Buck up, guys. I walked around the stadium in the rain last year next to an older couple (60s at least) decked out with jersey's, scarves, and NO WHINY ATTITUDE.
Was I in line with you? I also walked with a couple in their 60s (from Brooklyn) and we had a great time winding our way into the bubble. I had a blast that night.
