This is partially for selfish reasons (my fantasy football team :D), but who are new signings, transfers, newly promoted players that will make their mark in the EPL this year?

i was going to mention that cygan was the arsenal player that motterman was referring to, but i now see that he has changed cheryou's club team correctly. the arsenal people are high on cygan though.

The CEO for the Silverbacks is a big West Ham fan. Unless you are he, I thought you would like to know.

Once Jeff Cassar leads the 'Backs to the A-League title...he will go back and make a Premiereship impact!! :D

YOU GUYS ARE FORGETTING A VERY IMPORTANT PLAYER TO WATCH IN THE EPL.
MOST OF THE PLAYERS MENTIONED IN THIS THREAD ARE VERY GOOD PLAYERS BUT MY MONEY IS RIDING ON ARSENAL'S GILBERTO SILVA.

HE IS THE MAN TO WATCH, ALTHOUGH HE MAY GO UNNOTICED 'CAUSE HE PLAYS LIKE A GHOST.......
QUIETLY GOING ABOUT HIS BUSINESS OF DISRUPTING THE OPPONENTS ATTACKS.

    aston villa: ulises delacruz
tottenham: qu bo (if they sign him. i think they'd be idiots not to, considering shirt sales alone, much less skill)

If you are looking for impact players from a fantasy standpoint then Silva isn't a good choice.

De La Cruz should score some goals from his defensive position, so he might be a good fantasy pick up. It's always hard to pick which backs will get you a few goals.

I read about Cheryou, but I don't see him starting at 'Pool, but hell Houllier has bought about 60 players so it's hard to tell who'll play the most.

Juninho sounds like a good choice for any league that gives you points for assists. I suppose most do.

Anyone think Stern John will score many for Birmingham?

Jermaine Pennant (Arsenal) -- though limited time this year.

Jermain Defoe (West Ham) -- 20 goals. Now.

Jermaine Jenas (Newcastle) -- WILL be THAT good.

Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke (Blackburn) -- 30 goals between them, absolute MINIMUM

In a bag with a cat.
Agree with the first three, and hope you're right about the forth.

Macarone at Boro is going to rock, as should Hugo Viana if he's as good as he's made out to be.
