Seeing as the Blue Jays weren't granted permission to play home games in Toronto, I don't see why TFC would be any different. Are they just going to play all the Canadian teams first and then go on an epic road trip for the rest of the season? Share a stadium with a US-based team?
The rumour I heard was your first option: Play games against their fellow Canadian teams and then go on a US road trip. It was unclear what would happen after that. Of course, it's unclear what's going to happen for any teams after this return to play tournament wraps up.
I don't think the Whitecaps and Impact playing Toronto for six weeks, is the same as foreign teams flying across the border every few days, and multiple trips to Covid hot-spots. My guess is they play them all at Downsview Park.
Governor Ned Lamont @GovNedLamont 8h Reds are coming to Connecticut! I'm excited to announce we've reached an agreement for @TorontoFC to play their home games this season at @PWStadium in #EastHartford. First match here will be September 27 against @ColumbusCrewSC .
