If Bingham is still in LA, that sounds about right. If he is back home in Castro Valley, it would be about 650 miles to Portland....
With all of the ForestKillers GKs injured, this makes sense. I hope he sucks badly for them. Go Quakesfans!! - Mark

the Quakes have finally invited DeRo to the previously new now old stadium! He's coming for an STH book signing @ 3:45 before the Classico. I had read something last year where DeRo remarked that the Quakes had never invited him to Avaya...
Yes, and I asked my rep if he was going to be honored at halftime, and he said maybe / probably not because the half-time show was going to be focused on 1st responders. I suggested that they enter him into Quakes HoF and bring him back to honor him for that, so certainly it will happen now!! If the line is not too long I will buy the book and ask him to sign it.
I just picked up my copy yesterday at Books inc, so i hope i can get it autographed… Haven’t cracked it open yet…
I just wish people would share the tidbits so that I know whether or not it is worth listening to or watching a 60 min episode of media.

Minnesota United have used a contract buyout on defender Ike Opara, sources tell me and @_jacobschneider. Opara, 32, is a two-time MLS Defender of the Year. He last played on March 7, 2020, Minnesota’s last pre-pandemic game. He scored twice.— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) August 5, 2021 I believe his last game was against the Quakes.
Yep. MN paid SKC 1m in allocation money for him and paid his $685k salary for 3 years. Grand total of 3 million spent (not even converting gam to usd). He played 1 season. He was good for them in 2019 but in hindsight this signing was a bust.
ExtraTime said that Opara was worth it, as he raised the level at MN to where they became consistent competitors. Remember, they were a total sh*t team before he went there.
