Looking to find a place to watch Saturday's match somewhere in the North Beach/Financial District vicinity. I heard that it was going to be tape delayed until 6:30? Any ideas? James
Hmmm... North Beach? Carol Doda's Condor! Too sleazy? There's a big sports bar at the Marriot at 4th and Mission. There's Green's Sports Bar on Polk near Union (I know that's not North Beach, but pretty close.) I'm open to ideas.

According to this, it's at 6:30pm on Fox Sports Net http://www.sjearthquakes.com/press_box/082602weekly.htm If it's been switched to ESPN2 @ 10pm, no one at the Quakes office has heard about it. So I'm told. Oh, and Flashman, you're in San Diego... maybe you're getting a different deal than we are.
The Galaxy game is on at midnight if you're in the Central Time Zone (I know it will get someone confused if zones aren't specified). I'm thinking about waking up to watch it instead of taping it since we are currently having VCR technical difficulties.
Anyone who wants to join Defender, MLS11 and myself, we'll be at the Boathouse at Lake Merced. It's official.
